The season 2023-2024 has officially started! We are looking forward to many korfball and social events across Switzerland, of which the dates and location will be shared soon.
Helvetii Cup
The newly created outdoor Helvetii Cup has been moved to next year due to issues in the calendars of the Clubs. For next year, we are planning to add it as a fixed date into everyone’s calendar. Therefore, we are asking the Clubs to check if they prefer May or August to find time to start the Helvetii Cup 2024.

New korfball rules IKF
The IKF Playing Rules Committee has published ‘The Rules of Korfball 2023’, valid as of 1 September 2023. Just two small adjustments have been done in the text: the marking of the floor on the free pass area and a situation about the shot clock. The new rules can be found under 04 – Playing Rules via this link.
Beach Korfball
Beach korfball is added to the list of games during the world games. This special variant of korfball is easy to play as it can be played at any location and in small teams. Swiss Korfball is considering the opportunity to play during events with the development squad to give our rising stars more options to play official international matches. The task force development will pick up this topic and give more information in a later phase. Geoff will elaborate more in a note on a later stage.
